Plan Compatibility:
- All Plans: Customize and reorder core form fields.
- Paid Plans: Create and configure custom form fields.
Step 1: Access the Support Form Settings
- Log in to your WordPress Dashboard.
- In the left-hand sidebar, navigate to Tickets > Form Fields.
Step 2: Manage Core Form Fields
By default, NativeDesk includes four core fields: Name, Email, Subject, and Message.
- To Reorder Fields: Click and drag the drag handle icon (located to the left of the field label name) to move fields into your preferred order.
Step 3: Add Custom Fields (Paid Plans Only)
If you are on a paid plan; Personal, Pro or Agency; you can gather additional details from your users by adding custom fields.
- Click the Add Custom Field button.
- Enter a Label Name (e.g., Order Number, Department). This is the field label visible to users on the site.
- Select a Field Type from the dropdown menu:
- Text: A single-line text input.
- Email: An email field with format validation.
- Text Area: A multi-line text field for longer input.
- Checkbox: A single toggle/check box.
- Dropdown: A selection menu.
- Configuring Dropdowns: When selected, an options box will appear. Enter your choices separated by a comma (e.g.,
Option A, Option B, Option C).

- Set Field Requirements: Check the Required box if users must fill out this field before submitting the ticket.
Step 4: Save Your Changes
- Once you have finished adding, organizing, or editing your fields, click the Save Changes button at the bottom of the page to publish your updated form to your site.
Delete A Field
If you need to delete any field, simply click the Remove button next to that field.
