Installation & Getting Started Free Plugin

Follow this quick guide to install, configure, and get started with the free version of NativeDesk directly from the WordPress repository.

Step 1: Install from the WordPress Repository

1. Log into your WordPress administrative dashboard.
2. Navigate to Plugins > Add New.
3. Search for “NativeDesk”.
4. Click Install Now and then click Activate.

Step 2: Configure Mail SMTP & Support Email

1. In your WordPress admin sidebar, navigate to NativeDesk > Mail (or click the Mail link in the NativeDesk menu). (Note: If not configured, your Mail section will display a warning).
2. Configure your SMTP settings under the Mail tab, or link your preferred SMTP plugin (e.g., FluentSMTP, WP Mail SMTP, or host-provided SMTP credentials) to ensure reliable outbound email delivery.
3. Enter the email address where admin notifications for new support tickets and customer replies should be delivered.
