Follow this guide to install your core plugin, upload your paid upgrade files, configure your settings, and activate your license.
Step 1: Download Your Plugin Files
After completing your purchase, locate the download links provided in your purchase confirmation email or log into your account dashboard:
- For Personal Tier Users: Download the core plugin
.zipfile. - For Pro and Agency Tier Users: Download both the core plugin
.zipfile and the Pro extension.zipfile.
Note: Keep downloaded zip files in their compressed format. Do not extract them.
Step 2: Upload and Install in WordPress
- Log into your WordPress administrative dashboard.
- From the left-hand navigation menu, go to Plugins > Add New and click the Upload Plugin button at the top.
- Choose your downloaded core plugin
.zipfile, click Install Now, and then click Activate Plugin. - If you are running the Pro or Agency tier, repeat this exact manual upload and activation process for your second (Pro extension) ZIP file.
Step 3: Configure Mail SMTP & Support Email
- In your WordPress admin sidebar, navigate to NativeDesk > Mail (or click the Mail link in the NativeDesk menu). (Note: If not configured, your Mail section will display a warning).
- Configure your SMTP settings under the Mail tab, or link your preferred SMTP plugin (e.g., FluentSMTP, WP Mail SMTP, or host-provided SMTP credentials) to ensure reliable outbound email delivery.
- Enter the email address where admin notifications for new support tickets and customer replies should be delivered.
Step 4: License Activation
- Navigate to the main NativeDesk menu in your WordPress dashboard.
- Enter your license key (provided via email following your purchase) to enable automatic updates and feature access.
