It’s founder aimed to make getting dressed both expressive and effortless by blending smart tech with thoughtful design. Unlike ad-heavy fashion apps, Fit Stylist offers a cleaner, more personal experience—helping users build digital closets, style shareable outfits, and get smart recommendations based on their body, skin tone, and environment. Solving the Business Problem

The current landscape of mobile fashion apps is crowded but underwhelming. Many apps lack usability, feature intrusive advertising, or make the process of building a digital closet feel more like a chore than a creative outlet. Users seeking a modern, personalized styling assistant often find themselves frustrated with outdated designs and poor user experiences.

Fit Stylist was created to change that. With a clear vision for simplicity and style, the platform needed to offer users a seamless way to photograph, categorize, and manage their wardrobe—while suggesting outfit combinations based on color theory, skin tone, weather, and user input. The challenge was to build a scalable, social, and smart mobile platform from scratch—one that stood out in a saturated space.

Noble's Collaboration

Noble partnered with the Fit Stylist team to define, design, and develop the initial MVP platform—encompassing mobile applications for iOS and Android, a hosted backend server, and a lightweight administrative interface. The project was structured around building a delightful and differentiating user experience focused on personalization, usability, and social interaction.

Core Features Included:

  • Digital Closet: Users can upload clothing photos, categorize items, and build a wardrobe within the app.
  • Outfit Generator: Combines pieces using logic based on color theory and user skin tone, providing a 1–10 score for each outfit.
  • Weather-Aware Styling: Suggests looks based on local weather using a built-in weather API.
  • Social Features: Allows users to friend one another, share outfits, view non-private closets, and leave comments.
  • Custom Categories & Ratings: Users can name and save unique outfit combinations using personalized color schemes.
  • User Notifications: Alerts prompt users to create new outfits, update their closets, or revisit previously styled looks.
  • Comment & Rating System: Users can engage with each other’s outfits, encouraging a fun and supportive style community.

Technology Stack & Admin Tools:

  • AWS-hosted backend server using Java, Apache Tomcat, and MySQL
  • Native mobile apps for both iOS and Android
  • Admin dashboard using ReactJS for content and user management
  • Push notifications, image processing, and error logging baked into the platform for scalability and responsiveness

This first version sets the stage for a full-featured fashion platform with space to grow into eCommerce, influencer integrations, and trend-based styling suggestions.
