Solving the Business Problem

Planet Newsletter’s original ordering system was rooted in outdated technology—built around MS Access, fillable PDFs, and manual data entry. Without a website, customers had limited visibility into options, and internal processes required too much hands-on coordination. The leadership team knew it was time for a streamlined, scalable solution that could support growth and reduce operational burden.

The challenge was to design and build a web-based platform that preserved the personalized, high-touch nature of their service while automating the behind-the-scenes complexity. Noble was brought in to create a system that would give customers an intuitive, modern interface to browse, customize, and place orders—while giving staff the tools to manage fulfillment efficiently and professionally.

The new site allows users to browse product options, view samples, and submit orders without needing an account until it’s necessary. Key components included:

  • Intuitive product browsing and sample viewing
  • A guided ordering process with editable options and built-in digital signature support
  • Custom order confirmation and Thank You emails
  • Backend admin tools for managing order statuses and customer communication queues
