As a high schooler, choosing a career and planning for the future can feel overwhelming, scary, and overall just tiring. The challenge we were tasked with was creating an interface that would engage and entice kids to get excited about their future, while educating them on how to make the best financial decisions. MoneyPath is loaded with the up-to-date information about the exciting universities and careers students are considering and guides them to make financial planning decisions to fulfill their lives and dreams.

Noble Collaboration

Engaged in a continual process of Discovery, UX Design, Usability Testing, and qualitative surveys, MoneyPath continues to be driven by student and educator feedback. New ideas are discovered, designed, tested, developed, and deployed on an ongoing basis. Currently, with over 6,000 users in Wisconsin, Secure Futures and Noble are in the process of commercializing MoneyPath to serve students nationwide.

Project's Importance

Teens did not have all of the tools and resources to evaluate the important financial decisions that faced them: whether to pursue higher education or job training; what starting pay to expect based on their career choices, how to save and budget for major purchases, how much student loan debt to take on. Now with MoneyPath, young adults from all socioeconomic backgrounds are empowered to learn, plan, and make decisions about their financial futures with knowledge and confidence.
